The INPUT jack is for your GUITAR, not Amp.

OUT A and OUT B can then go anywhere you like:
    * Maybe to 2 separate amps (one clean, one dirty? – or both running in stereo?)
    * Maybe to both channels of a 2 channel amp (as MR ORANGE says) – I do this with my AC15
    * Maybe OUT A to some effects pedals or pedal board (and OUT B direct to amp) so the effects can then be switched on/off together by just hitting the switchblade.

    Lots of possibilities.

As Cryabetes says, what do you want to use it for?

EHX seem to be saying on youtube that the 70’s ego and the new superego are unconnected.

    *QUOTE*
In the 70’s Electro Harmonix had a pedal named Ego,and that was a microphone boost pedal.I might suggest that the SUPEREGO will be the remake of the old one.

The SUPEREGO has nothing to do with the old Ego Mic preamp!

    Welcome

The Stereo Pulsar is a brilliant, much under-estimated pedal.

i was never really a fan of Tremolo at all, until I got the Pulsar. It now has a permanent place on my board.

And like most EHX pedals – it does the basic stuff well, but can also produce some crazy noises!

    I hope you enjoy it.

Well…. cover me in eggs and flour and bake me for forty minutes…..

    Unbelievable Bill.

When you think Effectology can’t get any better…. you throw this one in. Unbelievable.

    Thanks for the reply.

I’m actually borrowing a Shure 55 Series II for a gig this weekend, so I will test it out then.

To be fair, I probably sound best with a T Shirt stuffed in my mouth!

    I’m not sure.

I’ve heard anything from 16 to 28 db

This however, is not clean boost. This pedal will distort/overdrive a tube amp over about halfway (I use mine as an overdrive rather than a boost)

Maybe an EH staff member can give the exact db?

    Anyone?

I have a weird hum problem with the Germanium OD but I can survive.

Are you running the Germanium OD from a 9V battery or a power supply?

They HATE being daisy chained – noisy as hell. Mine was unusable.

Try lots of different power supplies. I tried about 6 (all still noisy) until by chance I tried an old 9V supply I had lying around and PRESTO! Quiet as can be.

It’s now one of my favorite pedals and the basis of my sound.

    To add:

Pocket Metal Muff – ‘Your Fistful of Metal’

Screaming Bird – ‘Your Higher Flyer’

    Switchblade – ‘Your Secret Weapon’

Holy Stain – ‘Your Mark of Distinction’

I love these touches. They needn’t be there at all, but add a little bit of personality to the boxes. Adds to the family style/chic/not taking themselves too seriously aesthetic of the company.

A couple of weeks ago, my first thought was ‘what use do I have for a sitar simulator?’

Now, after Effectology, it’s ‘where’s my wallet?’

    Thanks Bill. Amazing demo.

    I think it looks great!

Clever visuals incorporating the ’rounded squares’ and the ‘teal’ colours of the older version.

    Very slick.

Sorry mobkon – this is not really a reply ….

But I have the same problem with my Big Muff Tone/Wicker.

Noisy as HELL through my tube amp.

Mine is a lot quieter with the tone ‘on’ but still pretty bad. I basically have to switch it off whenever I stop playing, to avoid horrendous feedback – so can only really use it in short bursts.

I wouldn’t mind some tips on how to tame the little bugger too!
