Does anyone think it’s possible to fit a TC Polytune (or maybe a Korg Pitchblack) into an actual nano enclosure? To make my own ”’EHX”’ tuner!

    Got one off Santa Claus!

I like it already. It can make some weird old sounds – especially using the filter matrix. I wouldn’t say ‘classic tones’ but great if you are into experimentation. Haven’t had a chance to fully get to grips with it yet, but it’s a thumbs up from me so far.

Well I haven’t got the pulsar but I do have the wiggler and love it. Fender ehx forever summed it up for me, tiz the sound of those tubes mmmmmm so warm. The wigglers great for Hendrix sounds I just love it, but have no knowledge of the Pulsar but I bet its good too.

The other way round for me. I have the pulsar but not the wiggler and I love it too!
In fact I think that the Stereo Pulsar could be my favorite pedal ever (and I’m not really a Tremolo kind of guy!) It’s a gem.

I have seen RHCP many times. The last time I saw them (last year) John WAS the RHCP. He had kind of become the personality of the band rather than Antony/Flea. They have always survived line up changes, however I just don’t know if there can be a RHCP without John anymore. More recently, live and in the studio, it seems to be his vehicle.

Yeah, I use Planet Waves from guitar too. I have Gold a Neutrik to the amp I have had for ages.

I use mainly Rotosound patch cables/connectors although I have some Planet Waves patch cables too (however I find that these seem to ease out of my pedals over time causing a break in the chain! I have to check everything is pushed in tight before I start to play).

I think the reinvention aspect is what I’m getting at. I suppose Bowie is the king. Rick Froberg isn’t a bad example as Obits sound way different from earlier stuff, but maybe this is more a maturing.

And from New Order to Electronic, so Sumner did it three times!

    Maybe Gary Numan?
