No worries, hope you get it sorted without too much trouble.

Well, what a cool pedal. Tons of tone to play with. Very warm and vintage sounding to my ears. Not had much of a play yet but WOW! Staggered is a word I would use. For the money I paid, I feel like I stole it! Stacks of clean boost available on the overdrive, and the distortion rocks without sounding shrill or harsh. Not much of a metal pedal (but if that’s your thing you would buy a Metal Muff, right??) but first class for rock and blues.

dawson1488, no sign of the static you mentioned with the Bias on the overdrive. Not sure what’s going on with yours. Still under warranty I presume seeing as these things have not been about long. I would get a replacement If you are still having trouble

Will do. I will get back to you on that in a couple of days when it turns up (Wednesday with any luck). Cheers for the advice.

Well, it’s on order. Just could not resist for that little money. Can’t wait, looks like a big canvas of sounds to explore and another EHX pedal to add to the collection which will bring it to 7 I think.

Cool, I will check that out thanks. Sounds good to me, my Tone Wicker Big Muff has the fuzz side of life covered, looking for a better distortion than my current Boss DS1 and a nicer overdrive (although it’s very good for the price) than my Cool Cat V1 OD.

Sounds stupid but I had not even thought of that!!! I think that’s gonna be the best thing to try next. Thanks.

Yeah, think you could be right. Will try another PS when I get home. Bit of a pain these Russian pedals don’t have the standard 9V power input. It sounds bloddy lovely though, might have to Mod it so I can use it with my Fuel Tank.

Yes, run my standard reverb and delays trough the loop. Just wondered how people had found using the Memory man’s loop function with it in an FX loop. My head tells me it might sound better before the amp but at the end of the chain. Will have to have a play I think.

I have just got one of these, was thinking about sticking it in the FX loop on my amp. Anyone tried this??? Good or bad idea???

I think the studio should pick up the cost for one of those, sounds like they have an issue with their Air Con!!! Can’t believe you are the only person it’s effected. If I were a pro/semi-pro player I would get one like a shot, but I am just some guy having fun at home, don’t even play live these days thanks to my crazy working hours. Would be nice but can’t justify that kind of cost. Going to stick to my £30 RF shielded and surge protected extension from Maplins I think. That and quality cables should be fine and dandy for me. Interesting info though, thanks. Always good to know a potential solution to a buzz problem.

Before buying a power block my concern would be to get a power filter/stabilizer unit to run all my gear off.

Oh nuts!!! What the heck is that??? Do I need it, should I have it, what’s it going to cost?????

Good point, I would too if I was playing live more often. I suppose when you start looking at the spec of things like the Voodoo 2+ power supply, there’s a lot of top class design gone into its construction. All that juice isolation is going to cost cash, but worth it for a pro/semi pro player. I just can’t justify spending that kind of cash when it could go on something more fun!!!! Cheap and cheerfull it is then!! Thanks for all the advice.
