yup, it does get rid of some noise.

    Cool.

Did you buy a lower voltage adapter for it? If you have one of those power starve thingies, which one did you use?

I think I go in and try out stuff more than anything else

LOL…That is what I use GC for, then I go and buy it at PN’S. Almost every pedal I buy, they’re like, “dude, don’t you even want to try it out first?” My old neighbor/good family friend works there too, so he knows whats up too. Its all good.

After the New Year, I wanna pick up a new amp. I’m hoping that I can test run a few in one of their lesson rooms. You know, really sit down, with no distractions.

Regarding the Graphic Fuzz, the eq is what I’m really after. I’m not too crazy over my GE7.

What voltage is the Big Box Graphic Fuzz? Wondering if the XO GF takes a battery?

Thats not bad, I hope they have them in stock. I gotta slow down here though. I know, I’m getting to be the butt of a few of their jokes. Oh well, I enjoy it, could be blowing my money on worse.

I want to try this with the big box Worm. I’ve read some reviews, where some have dropped the voltage and it lowers the background noise.

    I was told XO.

I originally ordered it before the XO’s were advertised. We were told a two month backorder. Then all the adverts started showing up. Then the release dates coincided with my backorder ETA. Two weeks ago, I had Jason, from PN’S, call up EHX, to see if we could still get the big box. EHX told him that they only had the XO’x. The message on my phone, today, was only, “your Graphic Fuzz is in.”

If they have a Big Muff w/ Tone Wicker there tomorrow, I’m picking that up also. Well depending on the price that is. Less than $130 and I’ll grab it.

    Cool Ming.
I’ve got a friend who like sto play a lot of western swing guitar style.
It certainly can do that CCR type sound though.

I think I’m going to make my nephew a small board to go along with the guitar I’m getting him, and I might put it on it for him to play with.

Yeah, its cool. Not a big fan, but I respect it. Learning new styles never hurts though, kind of rejuvenating. Never know when that hot brunette will go nuts over some chicken’ pickin’.

I tried to get my nephews into guitar, no luck. I did make one a snowboarder though. Luckily my niece is taking violin lessons. At least it has strings.

My only complaint about the Pulsar is, how it eats up batteries. Other than that, sweet pedal.

I really like mine. Haven’t used it much lately. I mainly use it for some Stones and CCR. The Pulsar can cover so much ground. I’ve recommended it a few times.

OT– I’ve been getting lessons off of this 80 year old country dude, think Hank Sr, Hoagy Carmichael. I’m not a pop country fan, but I respect old bluegrass and the like. After I come home from my lessons, I’ve been using my guitar–>Worm–>Champ 600. I have the Worm set to a very light trem. IMO, sounds really cool.

Anyone know when these are being released? My shop called the week before Thanksgiving. They were told, the during the week of Thanksgiving. Nothing yet.
I called GC and asked about the BM w/ TW and the guy never even heard of it.

I’ve had my Graphic Fuzz on backorder for about 3 months now, I’m getting a little anxious.

Sounds good with my LP -> Screaming Tree -> Champion 600. Its a little too bright with single coils. My LP Jr w/ a P90 is ok. I haven’t tried it with my 2205 or Bassman yet. I wasn’t feeling to well last night, so I crashed early. I can’t wait for my AC30 to get here.

I’ll post gutshots after work today. Unluckily for me, my pharmacy is open on weekends and its coming up on flu season. I was a little concerned upon opening it up. No circuit board, just “flying” components. I couldn’t find any pictures of a Screaming Tree, but I found one of a Screaming Bird. The components looked the same way.

I’m not sure which version it is. I’m guessing that it is the pedal, considering that is how it is listed. Either way, for $35, that is pretty cheap for a vintage piece.
