Hi, i cant decide for the moment if i should go for a Deluxe Memory man or Deluxe Memory Boy…

I own the Memory Boy ( non Deluxe) but if i compare it with the tone of the DMM it is much darker and the modulation is not in the same smoothness.

So how is the Deluxe Memory boy now?
Is it exactly the same circuit and chips for Modulation and Delay,as the Memory Boy or is it more like the Deluxe Memory man????

A tone control for brighter/darker Delay adjustment would be very great!!!!!!!!!!

There are 2 things i like “in theory” about the DMB:

    The effect loop

and the Tap tempo with rhythm control

When is it out in Europe for sale?????

And how long will the Deluxe Memory man be available in the future +/- ??????

    Greetings.

    Ok, Good luck with it!

Hmm, how can you see that mine is true bypass,(because of the sort of switch which is built in,maybe)???

Hi, i still wait for the release of the DMB,because im not sure which is better for me: The DMM or this one here.

So i asked this some time ago, and do it now again, because maybe in the meantime someone at EHX knows more about it now

“How” will the sound and especially the Modulation /Vibrato be? More like the Famous DMM or are there the same chips inside as in my Memory Boy???
Or is it something between the DMM and the MB??

How will the DMB prize be in comparison with the DMM one?

Other question: For a how long time is it safe or sure to become a new DMM with the Good Chips inside.

I mean if i wait too long for the DMB release,or if its release maybe gets delayed and delayed…. and in the meantime the DMM run out of production, then i have the s…

Hi, i opened my Small clone, but it doesnt have the same On Off swtich as yours, but anyway i posted a pic of mine inside this thread ,maybe it helps you in some way.SC thread

Try to look very closely(with a magnifier )to the different soldering points on your Pedals board. i think the one from which the cable originally came , must have some “remainig pieces” from the cable on it.

Hi, here is a pic of my Small Clone Pedal, hope it helps!

I think it is the blue cable which goes from the input Jack to the center contact from my Pedals on off Switch, right?

Hi, i know it may be a bit early to ask this ,but i like to know if the Deluxe Memory Boy will sound more like the Memory Boy(same chips inside?),especially the modulation/chorus/vibrato, or if it uses the same chips like the Deluxe Memory Man and therefore sounds more or same like him?

I ask this because im not sure if i should wait for the Deluxe Memory Boy, or better go now for the Original Deluxe Memory Man, which sounds like heaven to me!

I own the Memory Boy, and i like it very much too, but the Modulation section is not as fine (to adjust) as i heard from the DMM…

Hi,i have a multieffect processor unit(GT6)with built in Delay, in which i can see the ms values, so i can compare with it.

i dont talk about +/-10ms delay difference, but i think if its 420ms instead of 550ms i can hear that clearly.

Hi,thx for your answer, but, if i unplug the exp. Pedal then it should be back to 550ms, or did the exp Pedal adjusted now because of the 100k Pot some values inside the Memory boy?

How much kOhm Pot is working best for a memory boy exp Pedal?

Another question about the modulation: If i turn the depth knob a bit more than a quarter up from zero the modulation goes very very extreme, it sounds uhhm, bad….. Generally i found out that the knobs react very sensitive to very small movements. Is this normal with the memory boy, or is the stock adjustment of my unit a bit “overdone”?
