Are you talking about the Neo Clone or the Stereo Polychorus?

    Just got mine…
Sounds like the old ones to me…with the clock noise still in place in some settings.

I had the old chassis RI and I did not like it. I sold it. When the the Neo Clone came out I bought that and sold my Small Clone RI. The Neo Clone sounds much better so I’m hoping for the same with the Stereo Polychorus.

I have been curious on the verdict of the Neo Clone…hmmm…Is it so much better that I should sell one of my 2 small clones? Can you explain that you like more about it out of curiosity?

I’ve never found a chorus I’ve liked better than the small clone, including the Poly Chorus (owned two of those as well) and I guess in the back of my mind, I have hoped that the new xo model would be ‘improved’ somehow in sound (and it already does tons of cool shit, so maybe I’m being greedy)…I just found the chorus in the poly chorus less shimmery, or something, than the small clone. Also, both of my pc’s had some weird whiny sound on extreme settings…

i dig my pedal bag. but as soon as i bought it, i quicly outgrew it…so now it works as a gig bag for my gallien krueger bass head – quite nicely.

Can’t wait for the new Frequency Analyzer!!! My old one is pretty f’d up…i think i fried one of the ic’s. :(

Might be an easy fix. Are the ICs in it hard to find? Also, EHX has a fantastic repair department. I sent an out of warranty pedal to them a couple of months ago, and they repaired it quickly. I think Rick is the contact.

Yeah, I’m not too worried right now…the setting I use is there still, when I twist the coarse knob, the sound drops…I’ll probably replace the ICs at some point…the thing that bugs me more is that the filter section doesn’t work since I added an LED…on second thought, maybe EH could help it out greatly…

i’m guessing different diode clipping stages?

well, apparently it “opens up 3 high frequency filters providing a sustain that is raspy and defined.”

but I can’t really imagine that…does it filter out high frequencies or add them…or ‘open them up’ what does that mean???!? :freak:

    Well, I’m intrigued…
