i don’t mean just EH are producing lower quality tubes than before, everyone is. they simply aren’t up to the quality and durability of the valves of the 30s-50s

it would be cool if EH could invest in making tubes to the standard they used to be made at. i would happily pay twice as much for something that quality. adn they could pretty much corner the market as those NOS tubes aren’t gonna last forever.

Great idea! I picked up a tube Hot Tubes and a Tube Zipper after PureTube said that it was likely that they would be discontinued soon. Is that true?

I think it’s likely that every non-diecast pedal will come to an end over the next couple of years…maybe ehx are working on a smaller tube range too?

the wind is blowing and I can’t see it changing direction to be honest.

which is a shame, i don’t like the diecast pedals appearance.

i have used EH valves in the pre of my marshall and i find them a bit fizzy and not very warm compared to the jan/philips i also use.

haven;t tried the power vlaves yet.

not unbearable and i know it comes with the territory. it is just a pedal which is tricky to use if you are playing loud and need to stop for an instant.

so no reason to take the screws out?

unless you want to attach it to a board

and it doesn’t sound very analogue, i don’t know why they made this pedal really
