I found a Hazarai and Holy Stain on Ebay together for $150 (with a patch cable and velcro already on the bottoms). :) :)

Needless to say I can’t wait for Christmas!

My girlfriend is dragging me to Guitar Center today. She wants to buy me a pedal but I really don’t want her spending that much on me, when she knows I wasn’t able to spend much on her this year. So I’m thinking something cheap-ish and EHX. LPB1 perhaps?

The LPB-1 is great, I only got mine a couple of weeks ago and I’m wondering now why I didn’t get one before….

    it’s a really useful pedal.

Well, we went to GC and they didn’t have the LPB1 in stock, so I just got some strings. No big deal, I can always find a LPB1 for like 20 bucks online.

I’ll listen to most any kind of rock (I’m not real good with my subgenres), old school punk, alternative, a little bit of blues, just whatever tickles my fancy. Here’s some of my favorite artists/bands:

Alice in Chains, Beck (probably my favorite artist, and biggest influence), The Black Keys, Black Sabbath, Bob Dylan, The Clash, David Bowie, Dead Kennedys, The Doors, The Greenhornes, The Jimi Hendrix Experience, Kyuss, Led Zeppelin, Meat Puppets, Melvins, Metallica, Mudhoney, Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Primus, Ramones, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rolling Stones, Sex Pistols, The Smashing Pumpkins, Sonic Youth, The Stooges, Tom Petty, The Velvet Underground, The White Stripes, The Who

That should give you a pretty good idea.

Nice. that’s a pretty good selection, I probably would have said 80% of those myself.

    Yes!

Beck, Ween and the Flaming Lips are my musical trinity (although my tastes extend far beyond them). Also, The Melvins and The Beatles need space in there too, but I can’t give a top three if I have five favorite acts right?

My Christmas this year was pretty exciting: new drum heads! Tops and bottoms for my snare and both toms (five of the thick Remo Emperor heads and a thinner resonant head for my snare drum, so my drums are super Ringo-Style). My only complaint is that these toms are super dead sounding and my snare is really dry, so the Flanger Hoax is only really noticeable on my cymbals. However, the trade off is that the drums sound way way better through distortion.
