    My girlfriend is dragging me to Guitar Center today. She wants to buy me a pedal but I really don’t want her spending that much on me, when she knows I wasn’t able to spend much on her this year. So I’m thinking something cheap-ish and EHX. LPB1 perhaps?

    The LPB-1 is great, I only got mine a couple of weeks ago and I’m wondering now why I didn’t get one before…. :doh:

    it’s a really useful pedal.

    My twin reverb, 4 12ax7’s in the preamp, 2 12at7’s for the reverb and inverter. I think the reverb tube is bad cause I’m getting weird noises with it so I decided to just replace all 6 tubes. I wanted to try the EH gold 12ax7’s so this is a good time to do it.
    The power tubes are fine, they are sovtek 6l6 groove tubes, Since the preamp tubes are more noticeable in sound with swapping tubes than the power tubes I’ll just keep using the sovtek GT’s, saves biasing every tube swap, plus they are only 1 1/2 years old anyways and I haven’t even gigged once in that time so they are basically new.

    yeah, that makes sense….sweet, it should be like having a new amp!

    and 3 new muffs!!!!! LOL!!!

    I’m going acoustic for Christmas this year. Almost got a bunch of EHX gear, but I decided I’d fund that with a few guitar sales.

    Yeah, I’m definitely looking forward to this xmas, normally i don’t get anything for xmas cause I’m always broke but this December I came into over a grand so I thought it was a good opportunity to buy all the gear related items I needed. I didn’t NEED the 3 muffs but I’m fanatical about muffs so that’s why I got them and EHX just happened to release a new one, and eBay just happened to have two of seven I was after so it just worked out with me getting all this stuff. next xmas will be a paupers xmas, I guarantee it!

    I’m still not even close to completing my gear wants though, I still want a HOG, POG, AV Jazzmaster, deluxe muff triangle muff, PNP and an NPN ramshead, version 3 muff,PRS tremonti SE..LOL Hopefully I’ll get the first 3 this newyear cause I’m going to be selling some pedals I designed this new year. (prays that EHX wants to make one of my pedals*) But I will be selling some anyways through my own effects company.

    *I am going to formally ask them about it!

    lol, yeah…we are having a paupers christmas, I wanted some pedals….the kids wanted Nintendo DS, guess who’s getting what they wanted!!! :D still……I’m sure I’ll get some fun out of the DS too!

    they’ve wanted them since they came out, so they’ve been really good and waited 3 years!!!! they aren’t expecting them this year either…I can’t wait to see their faces when they open them. :) that’s what I’m looking forward to more than anything.

    DS should be fun, you’ll probably use it more than teh kiddies! I bought myself a 360 a few months ago and its pretty cool. I’m single, no kids BTW so I only have the cost of myself to worry about although loneliness is starting to get to me.LOL

    God, it would be my dream to have EHX make one of my pedals, It would be like winning lottery to me. :rawk:

    Looks cool! I don’t have a good acoustic, I wanted to get the fender jazzmaster type acoustic sometime when I’m not buying effects.

    I won’t get a thing from family because I make them not buy anything for me because I hate having to choose gifts for others, so if i don’t buy gifts I wont accept them either.
