    Yes it is the DD-6. I love the gristle king! the best of overdrive ive had yet, its very versitile. it has overdrive and boost plus you can combine them for either more volume or more drive its great

    hey freekzila,

    Awesome looking pedalboard, waaayyy bigger than mine, which is one pedal :facepalm: (but im just starting with pedals, I used ((still)) own a floor pod but I want more tone to play with to my adventure into the stompbox world has begun!!!!

    I am I total reverb freak, and have wanted the Holy Grail for I while now, but the I saw the cathedral.

    How is it? Is it worth it over a HG+?

    Thanks man i have alot of fun with it! Get ready for a wild ride the world of effects is both awesome and scary! So I really like the cathedral and heres why- lots of reverbs, lots of parameters to mess with, infinite button is cool, it can sound natural or over the top depending on how u set it. That last ones kinda of a pro and a con because you really have to dial it in to sound exactly how you want it but when u do find a good setting it can be saved which is great. I would get it over the HG+ it has more features for not much more money. oh yea along with all the reverbs you get a 2 second echo!! ITs a great pedal!!

    This is what I’m currently using. I’ve had a lot more than this in the past but this seems to be keeping me happy so far. I’d like a Holier Grail next but they’re getting hard to find now.

    Nice. Tell me about the tube zipper, I’m very tempted to get one.

    Nice :)

    a owned a Dan-echo… not a best delay in the world but it is fairly cool (i like the reel echo from Danelectro a bit more… )
    btw it was my first delay! :D i remember the first few hours of plaing with it – i was completely petrified… with joy (?!)

    @darkaxel yeah im not completely sold on the dan echo either – but for now it does the job – i would rather have an analog delay in its spot. i plan on getting a dmb when i can raise the funds.

    @friedjesseradio
    yeah, i shot it with a wide angle lens, so the edges get a bit distorted – and the ernie balls are huge to begin with, but i assure you it is normal size ;)

    hey davidandree, you said wide angle lens, but its also got this grey, strange color-ness to it, did you sue something else also? it looks really neat

    thanks, i always like to do a bit of adjustment with the curves in photoshop on my photography — here to emulate some subtle cross-processing of color (as done in analog photography).

    here is a link to a simple tutorial if you are interested in exploring the digital technique of cross-processing yourself http://www.photoshopsupport.com/tutorials/or/cross-processing.html

    it’s an Award-Session JD10 (mk2.3) – an excellent and amazingly versatile preamp/overdrive/distortion with DI output and switchable speaker simulation.

    So from what I’ve played, the Proctavia, the Dunlop Octavio, and the Fulltone Octave all seem about the same. Agreed?
