it may sound stupid but can u run that riddle of a power supply other than the adaptor?

It works with a standard 9V supply, but it’s a bit noisy. I went back to the provided adapter and it was perfectly quiet. I say stick with the provided supply as recommended.

No offence, but get a proper adapter ;) With my 1-Spot there is zero noise! :)

The Riddle psu is 200mA, I’d figure that the Riddle sucks around 100 – 150 mA, so it easly fits on my 1-Spot. :) Dirt is mostly under 30mA (most even under 10), wah the same and chorus maybe 60mA or something?

I have two 1-Spots, one for everything before the input and one for everything in the loop. That did cause noise when I daisychained it all. But because of the ground loop, not adapter.
The 1-Spot also gives out way less radio-noise (hold your standard style adapter in the back of your combo and you’ll hear it ;) ). It all contributes!

I’d just stick it on the high mA output of my PP2+. Except those are both spoken for.
Uh oh, I just realize I have a powering problem if I get the riddle. Except if I can get by with 100ma.

Hmm.. well I honestly don’t know, you’d have to ask Scott about that.
It’s a bit of an annoyance that EHX doesn’t post technical specs anywhere.. even on the manual. :(

I have a feeling that 100mA should be fine.. I mean it’s just a filter and some dirt.
All the extra knobs make it much more usefull .. but not ore powerconsuming.

I’m finally getting around to post a pedalboard pic. :freak:

i had no idea where to put my microsynth in the effects chain so i just put it at the end :worried:

I think it will track and sound better if you’d put it in front of the LBP and any modulation.. It seems logical but I don’t own one so I might be mistaken ;)

Nice board though, lot’s of space left :) Mine is slowly getting crowded :(

blue steel – tell me about the phase 100. i’m thinking about picking up that exact model from the same time :)

It’s really cool. It sounds great in all four intensity settings (although i still have no idea what the little circles mean underneath the switch :worried: ) and it’s really great with fuzz. You can get really subtle and warm phaser sounds and awesome sounds with the rate turned up all the way. But, it doesn’t have an LED like the re-issues, but i think it’s easy to tell if a phaser was on or not. But overall, it’s a great pedal! :)

how slow does it get? i think i’m gonna jump on one very soon. it’s between that and the expensive maxon rotary phaser. but i don’t like phase enough to splash out that much haha

On the slowest speed, it takes about 14 seconds.

I tried the microsynth in a few different positions and it sounds the best in front of my ds-1. :)

I completely forgot about your dirt pedals..
Basically as much at the beginning of the chain as possible :thumb:

I love the Micro Synth :) unfortunatly it’s totally unusable in my music except for one or two songs.. :(
