Heres my pedalboard. Bit of a mess at the moment-i need to take everything off and rearrange it so it all fits together better. Hoping to get a nano holy grail to put on there too. Dont currently have the pedals running through the effects loop of the noise reducer so hoping to sort that out as well.

got a preset for a cello sound. turn off all the original sliders and put up the -1 octave. use the envelope to set a slow attack and play around the fret 5 area and it sounds pretty cello-like. send it through a reverb like the SMMH and it can actually sound pretty convincing!

put the hog onto freeze & gliss or freeze and volume mode, turn on the spectral gate, turn -1 octave to about halfway, and put the +1, +2, +3, +4 octaves to just over halfway you can make a really cool synth style sound, strings kinda thing. fiddle a bit with the settings of all the plus octaves sliders for your own tone. also sounds really good with the hog on volume mode followed by a chorus and a nice delay. you can really milk the swell and the chorus polishes off the sound nicely.

yeah the riddle seems to have a bit more on it, and i love the fact that you can control it with an expression pedal. i want to see more videos of it but unfortunately theres only one one the EHX website and the guy in it doesnt really demonstrate the full capacity of the pedal :(

i play pretty much everything so all suggestions are good :) checked out the bassballs and the flanger hoax and both look like great pedals. not too sure how much use they’d get though. hmmm. was pondering on the qtron+ or maybe a riddle but i dunno…

yeah i got it before my amp now but i put my metal muff in front of it so that when i use the freeze & gliss or freeze & volume functions i can stomp on that and play a tasty overdriven solo over the top of the hog

Got my guitar running into a compressor, then into the metal muff, then the hog which feeds into the amp. then in my effects loop i got the small stone, chorus ensemble and the memory man with hazarai. all great pedals, especially the EHX ones!! got my amp channel switch in there too-not sure whether to leave that off the board or not yet. still trying to decide whether to keep by hop before my amp or drop in into my effects loop – any suggestions? Only just got the actual board to mount it all on and what a pain it the butt its been to try and get everything to fit on in some kind of workable order-still a work in progress but im sure theres room on there for a few more pedals…….
