Those are in great condition. My camera is several years old and doesn’t seem to do anything justice.

i have a one spot and a memory boy. i suggest either using a battery or the adapter you’re given with the boy. the one spot degrades the quality in all ways, and not in a good way.

i’m pretty sure kevin shields of mbv has 20+ pedals on his board these days. he also used two tremolo pedals at once to achieve some of his sounds. actually, i’m pretty sure his board is on the famous musician’s boards thread in here. i believe he used the yamaha spx900 too, which is a a rack mounted effect, throughout my bloody valentine’s earlier albums. if you’re looking to get similar sounds to those bands with stomp boxes, i’d invest in a great reverb pedal such as the cathedral. the cathedral seems to have an amazing reverse reverb, which i believe kevin shields made much use as well. i definitely recommend checking out devi ever due to she’s got a pedal named after the label associated with these bands. i’d definitely try getting your hands on a russian muff too. you’ll get some similar sounds, but a lot of it probably had to do with recording techniques. try kevin shields, slowdive, or whatever through google. google is magic. have fun man.

yeah, definitely. i meant that i feel a filter matrix pedal would be of the same caliber as the iron lung. i feel as though each one is/would be as worthy as the other.

I thought the Iron Lung was a vocoder/voice vox, nano versioned

i meant that i believe a filter matrix pedal would be on the same level as the iron lung. my bad.

Well another good idea would be replacing the side switch for the filter matrix with a stomp switch.

This is true. Though through the release of a pedal such as the Iron Lung, I see no big difference in releasing a pedal dedicated to the Filter Matrix. It would be in a Nano enclosure too, of course. However, maybe the Iron Lung will have more followers than a Filter Matrix pedal.

That sounds nuts in a very good way. This pedal’s been on my list for quite some time. And since I just picked up a JC-120 I’ve heard so many new things from my pedals. The Memory Boy sounds unreal through a JC. However, I’m really looking forward to playing with the Micro Synth, JC-120 or not.

I prefer phasr before dirt BUT i enjoyed the time when i put phaser after fuzz (ibanez fz7 or whatever… terrible pedal but nice experience) :) ) very funky sounds… anyway

wah used to be first, i don’t have any at the time… then phaser, than dirt, delay, noise reduction and amp

i’m a bit struggling with my new (first) tremolo… nut sure if i like it before or after delay… it seems to be better after delay (i use milder settings on the tremolo) but who knows… i’ll definitely try it all over my pedalboard :)

i’m in the same dilemma. it’s become even more difficult to decide when you have the stereo pulsar, due to the stereo capabilities haha.

well, it can make your guitar sound quite metallic, if that makes sense. it’s useful to me as i use it very often in the music that i write. i think any sound can be useful to someone. but regardless of whether i run keys or guitar through it, i love the tones i can get when the filter is engaged. i know it’s very, very unlikely that ehx will produce a box solely for the filter matrix, but it’s a dream that i love to dream.

I’m thinking about a Nano LPB-2ube, or Nano English Muffin, with only one tube, or if it doesn’t fit in a Nano enclosure, the next small XO box (the Memory Boy, Little Big Muff etc. one) would be OK, something like the Zendrive II.
Because I love EHX tube pedals but god they’re big!

    i second this.

mike sniper of blank dogs uses a flanger hoax and a #1 echo. the other guitarist uses a flanger hoax as well. however, i wouldn’t say blank dogs is that famous.
