This could be solved with the “multiply” function I suggested for the 95000 on another thread :)

Thank you very much for your attention and your answers. The 95000 is a GREAT PRODUCT, and if you can implement the “no jump to the next track” and “multiply” functions it will be simply perfect. Thanks again!

If you have 2 bars and you multiply, your loop is now 4 bars. every track on the loops is now 4 bars, if you multiply again, your loop is now 6 bars.

Just out of curiosity, check out the user manuals for both the Electrix Repeater and Echoplex digital pro. This feature is INCREDIBLY useful for live looping duties, making the looper not just a glorified recorder but an INSTRUMENT. This is why those machines (Echoplex and Repeater) are so sought after and difficult to replace with hardware. Us, loopers of old chersih this multiply function a lot.

I think I didn’t explain myself correctly concerning MULTIPLY. Let me try again :)

Let’s say you have a loop of a certain length that I’ll represent with

    X

the 9500 is looping said X loop continuously on track 1, X after X after X and so on, the other tracks are of course of the same length. the duration of the loop is X

But on track 2 I want to record another thing that doubles X in length, so I MULTIPLY the length of my loop and NOW my loop is XX after XX after XX after XX, and this is the same for every subsequent track on the same loop. Therefore, the duration of my LOOP is XX instead of X and track 1 is two times X and my track 2 is a solo or a melody or something else. It multiplies the loop’s length and not different lengths for every track of the loop. This makes sense? :)

Thank you for your answer! Of course I’m aware I can perform an overdub the way you described, but it’s not really practical or intuitive for the kind of music I play on the looper.

I understand this “jump to the next track” can be useful for musicians that are making groove and EDM style loops, but in the case of more intrincate looping work (as in creating a soundscape, wall of sound of infinite overlays, experimental backwards stuff) jumping to the next track it’s not really useful at all.

I’m pretty sure I’m not the only one who would like this feature to be optional, I’m a member of the “Looper’s Delight” mailing list (now facebook group) where a lot of musicians would gladly replace our old Electrix Repeaters with the 95000 if this thing could be optional.

Other feature I’d love to see in the 95000 is a “multiply loop” function. Let’s say you have a 4 bar loop, and you want to record an 8 or 16 bar solo or thing along with that original 4 bar loop. So with “multiply” you can change the “lenght” of the original loop in order to record the second one. Hope this makes sense. Another feature that 20-year old loopers like the Echoplex Digital Pro and the Electrix Repeater can perform easily. Now that we’re in the future, I don’t see why the 95000 couldn’t easily feature these functions! :)

Apart from that, I find my 95000 awesome, great sound quality (wich is much welcome compared to other products), great recording length,I LOVE that you have feedback control! this is something easily overlooked as a BASIC feature in any good looping device, I love the 6 tracks and the ergonomy. For me it misses veeeery few things to make it perfect.

    Thank you! A+
