    INPUT GAIN TRIM:

… okay. originally unaware of the input gain trim, i have adjusted this. however, the results are as follows:

    1. The input gain trim itself JUMPS from quiet to loud, at a certain point, when turning the screw smoothly.
    2. With the input turned up, the effect output volume is more consistent, but the bypass signal is distorted.
    3. With the input turned down, my original problem persists.

It seems the real problem may be number 1.
Anybody have any idea why the input trim would jump?
    Can I fix this?

    … Anybody???

… does this seem like a recognizable problem? is it something that can be fixed? Does EHX repair older pedals?

    Thanks for the response.

If the pedal is busted, I will have to take it up with the seller, ebay, Paypal, etc. So I would like to be as sure as possible. (Unfortunately, none of the shops in town have a pedal on display with which to compare.)

To confirm, I should not experience any significant volume fluctuations with this pedal, in any setting?

    Thanks again.

I’d love to hear from as many people as possible.
