    they weren’t really brothers!

    ;)

As far as family goes, my little brother played guitar and we never meshed. He had no sense of rhythm. Would just try to play complicated stuff as fast as he could. And he was actually trained in flute, whereas I was not in any musical instruments at all. We also severely dislike each other.

My little sister used to play bass and violin, and we got on very well with each other- musically and personally. Unfortunately, despite her talent, she decided to quit. I don’t know why. If we could have found a drummer back in high school, I think we would have been a pretty good young experimental rock group.

another thing is that my friend who wants to sing also wants to play the guitar. but he doesnt know rythem and timing. i’ll try to teach him the easiest blink-182 song with four chords and when we play it together he always either falls behind or speeds up too much. even when we tried playing along with the cd, he still had no idea how to count the time and change chords. he’s not a very good guitar player. so now im trying to start another band with my other friend, but we still need a drummer. i asked my friend who plays bass and said he would be in the band, but we asked our friend that is a drummer and he said no. theres just no drummers that want to be in a band where i live. i hate it!

I totally understand you. I know no drummers (at least good and aviliable). Plus, I want to make a band playing guitar, as I said before, but I’m the only bassist I know.
