    I would like to see EHX make an analog memory man with no chorus or vibrato, just delay. Then I might actually be able to afford one of them. Oh yeah, and make sure it isn’t XO too.

    What does XO even mean?

    they were available up until about a year ago and a fair bit cheaper than a deluxe if I remember correctly.

    they might reissue them, but you know already it would be in an xo case!!

    This is what you are looking for. The original ’78 Deluxe Memory Man units have no modulation, and about 400ms of analog delay.

    It looks like it could have used a better set of knobs and a cleanup job, but I’ll bet it sounded fine.

    Hmmmm… I think out of these it probably means extra ordinary.

    I’m pretty sure it doesn’t mean extremely old because they are the new pedals so that would be kinda stupid.

    Or maybe it doesn’t mean anything at all.

    XO stands for xozmic orsplosion. I now know what it feels like to bathe in the glory of discovery. Join won’t you? My glory tub is big enough for all (except you hipster bastards). You know what, I don’t even care if the standard memory man (copyright costch corp.) ever gets made. I am not a big delay enthusiast.

    I can dig delay from time to time, but I just don’t use it that often. It is also one of the most expensive kinds of effect (analog that is). I think I’ll just stick with the Carbon Copy for now, because it has everything I need.

    Delay’s pretty dependent on style

    I love delay but I don’t use it much because it isn’t my style.

    lol, I’m not a delay fan either….until the hazarai came along I never even owned one (well I did but they were always sold fairly quickly) I just don’t have any use for a ‘normal’ delay. On the Haz I use loops, multi tap (from quiet to loud) reverse and a ‘de-tuned’ sound on the modulated setting, I never use it with a ”standard’ delay sound.
