I felt bad paying $175 for one of these last year. It’s actually made by SEKOVA in Japan. It is a fairly accurate Big Muff copy, though. If you changed the transistors and the way the Sustain control is wired, you’d have a triangle-knob Big Muff. I think someone bought it thinking it’s an actual triangle-knob Big Muff re-branded like the Marvel or Guild Foxy Lady.

I was bidding too and prepared to bid more than $200, but this is crazy :)

For posterity: $720 is what it sold for.

Thanks guys. I knew it wasn’t real EH. If I did put it on Ebay, I would hope that the guys bidding realize that it isn’t the real deal. I would, of course, state very plainly what it is and the condition of the unit. Now I just have to find my old EH Frequency Analyzer from the basement and see if it works!!

What do cheats who screw people over on eBay have to do with capitalism? Where I come from, we call them communists. ;)

cheats who screw people over on eBay?

………it was a fair auction as far as I can see, pretty much a case of consumerism gone mad to me.

Product made for cents, worker receives less than half his labor value, product sold for 100’s X its worth=capitalist exploitation.

It was just a joke BTW cause of the ridiculous price it went for!

Notice the ;)? :) Seriously, I shouldn’t have posted that comment, few here would get it. I certainly don’t want to start a discussion about the fundamentals of Marxism… 😆

Old thread, but it’s happened again:
