I recently got a Ring Thing, and I love it. I’ve been playing it near the beginning of my signal chain, 1st in line after my wah. Should it go after dirt instead? I’ll experiment on my own but I wondered if there was a common knowledge rule of thumb for ring modulators and pitch shifters.
