    HELP!!

Just pulled it out of the box and excited to check out the new crazy sounds…. but nothing. Silence. I know the thing is plugged in fine b/c I get full sound when the LED is not lit, but when I stomp the button the LED comes on but no sound.

Any clues? I’d rather not go through the hassle of having to send it back. Thanks!

my unprofessional diagnosis is there is something messed up with the output. you can spend maybe $30 or under for shipping and warranty fix. otherwise, take it back to the store and simply have em switch it out for a new one. if you’re worried about it, don’t do this but you can take off the back and take a look inside. good luck. good pedal

and by output, i mean the output jack. see if its loose and wiggle it just a bit to see if you get any sound

Or with the switch or the dsp, more likely if it works while bypassed.

I’ve never dis-assembled a pedal before — you’re saying loosen/tighten the nuts on the output (or “DSP” what is that?) — obviously I don;t want to mes anything up, but you suggest what exactly w the output?

    Thanks!

It sounds like it needs a tech to fix it.
Tightening the jack will not help.
Please write info@ehx on Monday and explain your problem.
    they will help.
Otherwise if its new, send it right back to where you got it for a replacement.

I was afraid you were going to say that — what a buzz kill to have this happen brand new right outta the box!

incidentally, DSP = digital sound processor.
