I ordered a New Deluxe Electric Mistress from guitar center to be shipped to my home because they didn’t have one in stock at the time. I bought a Big Muff as well that was in stock. Anyway, I received it Thursday the 25th of Feb. and I plugged in and started playing with the pedal and I noticed that when I turned it over there where like 3 screws missing from the bottom! Is this a normal minor error from the factory or what? Makes me wonder what is going on inside the unit now. Defects, poor soldering maybe?
They’re just screws ferchrissakes.
Yeah I know… but man when you are strapped for cash in a bad economy and one finally gets some extra cash saved up to buy something nice you kind of expect it to be in perfect condition… Just makes you wonder if it was rushed through manufacturing with more than just screws missing being the sole problem. Ya know what I mean
I am an very OCD person… So someone please humor me and help ease my mind
Drop them an email at info@ehx.com I’m sure they’ll send you a few.
I would email ehx customer service and have them mail you the appropriate screws. If it operates and sounds normal, there’s probably nothing wrong with the electronics. Did you look inside?
I know what you are saying, when any product is missing items, it makes you kind of nervous about quality.
Thanks guys! I will see what they say.
