It seems my Nano Small Stone has a switch problem. When I stomp on it, I lose all signal; I have to switch back, then switch again to get signal. Very unreliable… Is there a quick trick to get rid of that problem, or should I just sent it to my tech?

December 2, 2008 at 5:33 pm #87988electro-melxModeratoryeah, I got mine in ‘maplins’ which is similar to your Radioshack….I got their own brand ‘switch cleaner’ it wasn’t expensive and it’s handy stuff to have around, it evaporates quickly so it leaves no mess in whatever you spray it in.

December 3, 2008 at 8:15 pm #88296It definitely sounds like a switch problem. Spraying Deoxit definitely could solve your problem straight away. However, just remember that a LITTLE spray of Deoxit goes a long way. You will know instantly if you need service

Yeah this happens to my Holy Grail as well sometimes and it can get annoying.
I have no idea how to fix it.

either switch cleaner or a new switch….the switches will usually last for years but sometimes they just break through repeated stomping. EHX use some of the best quality switches available but unfortunatly they aren’t indestructable and sometimes they just go bad…
try spaying some cleaner in it first and see if that does the trick.
