    Hi Everyone,

I would appreciate any and all suggestions, I really want to keep this unit. I just bought a used big-box micro synth, and the filter sweep is acting up. It will sweep the frequency ok when both the start and stop are at opposite ends (one up, other down), but when the sliders are put together in the middle of the range or below, a strange fuzzy, almost flubby sound occurs. At this point, the LED also dims and flickers slightly whenever notes are played.

Also, when all of the voiced sliders are down, and no signal should be coming through, if the end pot is up, this flubby sound still comes through loud and clear.

Am I making sense? I have adjusted the trimpot in every possible manner.

Thanks for any advice/suggestions/help anyone can give me! I know these can be tricky units at times which is why I bought this one as a backup for my other.

I’d contact EHX and see if they will still repair the big box ones. Their repairs are pretty cheap. Here’s how you contact them:
