The manual states that I press the loop button, recording starts. I then press the loop button and recording stops and a playback starts, to overdub just hit the loop button again
But for me it works like this:
I start a loop, i then close it with hitting the loop button, the playback starts but it’s still recording, the recording lamp is on and if I start playing I’m already overdubbing, I have to hit the loop button twice as to not start overdubbing immediately
