Is it true or just a rumour?
A thread was started over at HC, linking musiciansfriend.com. The link show that they are clearing, the Holy Grail, out.
I’m curious. Figured I’d ask here.

March 16, 2009 at 3:40 pm #94562Fender&EHX4everModeratorAren’t the basic features on the Holy Grail Plus identical to the original? Has anyone done a comparison?
March 16, 2009 at 5:12 pm #94567liveatsixMemberIt was a long time ago when I tried both the HG and HG+ out, and I went with the HG+. They sounded pretty much the same, with the + having the extra features of room reverb and the amount knob. The amount knob was the deciding factor for me. I also liked the smaller size.
March 16, 2009 at 5:31 pm #94568Fender&EHX4everModeratorYeah, the HG+ seems like a definite improvement, as much as I love the old steel boxes. Anyways, I’m glad that they are phasing out the old enclosures. It just increases the resale value of my collection everytime they do that

April 6, 2009 at 11:36 pm #95386BlueSteelParticipantAre they dicontinuing the holy grail all together, or just the old casing?
because why would they make a new casing if they are just going to discontinue it?
April 8, 2009 at 12:49 am #95427StratoholicMemberDone man!
April 8, 2009 at 1:36 am #95429McHavenModeratorI’m also really curious to see if these classic chassis pedals are going to be completely discontinued, or if we’ll just have the option to get either. If they’re entirely gone, I’m not selling any one I’ve got!

any suggestions as to what i should do?
