Hi, I’m hoping someone can help me out with this.
My Stereo Memory Man w/ Hazarai has stopped working. I’ve had it for years, always used the supplied power supply, etc., and today for the first time I’m having issues with it.
Everything still lights up correctly, all the controls appear to be functioning, but when I engage the pedal with the bypass switch, it just goes silent. It routes my signal through like normal when bypassed, but when I turn it on, the sound goes dead. What’s weird about that is that the pedal seems to “think” everything is fine. The Hazarai knob still scrolls through the effect types, presets still seem to load, the tap tempo works… but no sound comes out.
I took off the backplate to see if anything looked weird or if any components were fried but it looks fine in there. No loose contacts or bad solder joints that I could see.
I have bad feeling that this isn’t something I can correct myself and will need to send it in for a factory repair, but I’m hoping someone else has encountered this problem and can tell me what to expect or how they fixed it.
Many thanks,
-Adam
