I think there should be a forum for stuff that people have for sale or trade.
People could sell their old EH pedals to other fourmites and avoid using flebay.

It might be a good idea to add trader ratings.

I would advise listing your items on craigslist, gumtree or whatever and post a link in the ‘ebay’ thread in the lounge …. that way your details are there (not here) and the deal can be done away from the forum….. those sites are designed for buying and selling, this one isn’t unfortunatly and we must insist that deals are not done here in the forum threads….

November 20, 2009 at 10:52 pm #104000Fender&EHX4everModeratorMost of the admins here are volunteers. We’re not employees of EHX. If a deal goes bad, we can’t do anything about it, nor are we obliged to.
But we’ve participated in enough musicians forums to have seen all the drama that can happen with buying and selling on a forum. We came to a consensus that we didn’t want to be the sponsors of those types of situations, and we didn’t want it to reflect badly on EHX either.
So, that’s where we stand with it for now, at least until a good argument in favor of it changes all of our minds.
