    Hello everyone,

I have couple of questions about my EH4800.

Judging the Serial number on the pot, the pedal seems to be from 1978.

I have two problems with it 🙁

    1. The Sweep starts and continues like a charm, but at the end of each sweep there is a sound of a bump, tick? And then it continues without any problems till it reaches the end again.

    2. When You play it while the effect is on, the differences in volume are a bit too extreme. It goes from very low to very loud… Can this be adjusted on the BIAS on the pot?

There’s four pads that barely has solder on it (Marked in Red). I will fix that and maybe these three caps are ready to go?

Would love to hear Your opinion!
    Thank You!

Hello Zilly and everyone, I found this old post and hope someone can help me out.

I have exactly the same problem with a Small Stone built into a Dirt Road Special amplifier (Year 1979).

    1. The Sweep starts and continues like a charm, but at the end of each sweep there is a sound of a bump, tick? And then it continues without any problems until it reaches the end again.

Is this a known issue? What should I check first?

Thanks in advance for your help.
