hi! I’ve bought EHX Black Finger Compressor which is AMAZING and I use it a lot for gigs and recording. It’s made for american market. And the power supply has special EHX connector on its end. The thing is I live in Russia and russian electricity standart is 220V. I’ve bought another power supply which makes step down from 220V to 12V. And Also I’ve bought EHX connector to put it on the end of the power supply’e wire. The problem is I need tow the polarity of EHX connector plug’s two ends (big and small ones) – I need to know which one is “+” and which one is “-“?

Polarity doesn’t matter since it uses AC power and not DC. Just make sure your new adapter supplies AC and enough current and you’ll be good to go.

My new power supply has Output Voltage 12V DC 12.0VA and Output Current 12V – 1000mA. So in my case does it mean that it’s impossible to use it with Black Finger?

Correct. You need to find one that outputs 12VAC, 1000mA. In the meantime, you should just use a 220 – 110 stepdown transformer to use the original adapter.
