Hi everyone. I’ve had a great time playing around with my 95000, and find that its very good at looping more ‘song-based’ music, but I have been frustrated trying to create more arrhythmic and soundscape-type loops with the instrument. Is there a way to switch the looper from the rigid tempo framework into a more “time” based mode, like what is native to the 360? Not everything I would like to use this for has a tempo, and I find that constantly wrangling with trying to match my music up to a set number of bars is very limiting to what I’d like to do with the looper most of the time. Hoping there’s a solution to this!

Yes, the solution is to disable QUANTIZE prior to recording a New Loop. With Quantize disabled, the loop lengths will be the time between pressing the RECORD footswitch to begin recording and either a second press of the RECORD footswitch or a press of the PLAY/STOP footswitch to stop loop recording.

Turn down CLIX LEVEL so you don’t hear the metronome.

The TEMPO slider can be located anywhere prior to recording a freeform loop. Some 95000 users that do freeform looping will leave the TEMPO slider in its topmost or bottommost position so they can easily return to the original loop speed easily just by moving TEMPO all the way or down.
