i’m not quite sure what they meant when they said that the cathedral is true stereo.

i thought left and right outputs would be separated when both left and right inputs were plugged in.

i run a 2 amp set up. one is my dirty amp and one is my clean amp.
i wanted the reverb to trail off when i switched between the amps
so i placed the cathedral after my AB pedal and had A go to L input and B go to R input on the cathedral.
when i switched between the amps, i was still able to hear the guitar on both amps which bothered me a lot.
seems like the signal is mixed in the middle. so even if no signal is going to one of the inputs,
    both outputs send signal out.

is there a way to separate the signals within the pedal, like a mod i can get done?
i really like the way the cathedral sounds but i would like it if it actually worked the way i thought it did.

    thanks.

I didn’t get any stereo sound from my Cathedral.
    Then I changed the cables.

(And after that I realized I had accidently pressed “mono” on the mixer, ARRRRGH)

Check your cables, check your mixer, or return it. Hope it works out for you!

    i am so confused.
sorry, but what you’re saying doesn’t make sense to me.

there’s no mixer or a button for mono on the cathedral.

bad cables wouldn’t sum up everything to mono either.

there is a center mix for some reason instead of distinct left and right channels.
which means it is not a “true stereo” pedal.

You do not want a discrete right and left with reverb.
The outputs are placed in a spread that is panoramic.
Just as you hear things in a big room in real life.

My Cathedral is connected to a mixing table using sound cables.
