I recently had to trade my big muff pi away along with my qtron for a much need tube pre amp/OD ..As much as i hated to do it i had to with the deal i had worked out..I don’t miss the qtron all that much it was a nice pedal but more a gimmick pedal then a tone pedal…But i do miss the big muff although i still have my Russian muff that will never go anywhere as it is a main stay of my tone..

What my question is ..Im trying to control space on my board and i like to have an EQ pedal but it is not a necessity as i use a rack mount EQ live..But for practice when the rack units are packed away its nice to have an EQ available…But i also want to regain my Big Muff PI which in my mind is a necessity.. Can the graphic Fuzz reach Big Muff Pi tones? So i can kill two birds with one stone so to speak…

Or would i be better off finding a small sized EQ and a little big muff to save space?

Also how does the newer tone wicker Muff compare with a Big Muff Pi?Can it duplicate the Big Muff Pi tones..I have heard many rave about this pedal and have listened to reviews on youtube but i have never heard it live and more than likely will not have an opportunity to hear it live before placing an order so i must depend on others evaluation…

Which way would be the best way to go to recover my Big Muff Pi tone while saving all the board space i can…Thanks CC

As far as I’m aware no, its more of an overdriven sound than a big muff sound.
Check youtube for some ideas on it.

Also the wicker muff is Just like a standard 2008 big muff unless you turn on the switches. SO yes, its a big muff, an ordinary 2008 style big muff.

Thanks for the idea’s..The tone wicker’s size is smaller than a Big Muff Pi correct?..I think i’m leaning more and more towards the tone wicker…It sounds like everyone really likes this pedal…

correct. the tone wicker is half the size of the original in every dimension. its the same size as the little big muff.

Well if it is the same size as the Little Big Muff it makes it a real easy decision i will be ordering the tone wicker..Thanks for the help
