I have a c9 and have the dry output connected to my guitar amp and the organ output connected to my PA system to separate the sounds which is fine when to pedal is switched on but when I switch it off my guitar sound starts to come out the PA system as well as my amp which is not good is this correct ?

That is the way it is. For you I would leave the pedal on and control the organ output to the PA with volume pedal or use a switch blade to mute the organ.

That is a bummer. One presumes the obvious things are done correctly, like only sending organ to the organ out and only sending dry to the dry out.

Very disappointing, but the organ sounds are cool enough to tolerate that design flaw for now anyway. Can’t leave it in the primary signal chain with that shortcoming unless I add more weight and cost to the board…

I just bought a B9 and I’m having the same issue. I can’t believe the official response is “That’s the way it is.” The only conclusion is that there is no logical reason and the +$220 pedal I just bought has a design flaw. I have found old postings with the same complaints and so the only conclusion is that EHX has made the decision to continue to produce a product without fixing the problem. I am a professional touring musician but this was my first EHX purchase. I doubt I will purchase another and “That is the way it is”.

This is the way the pedals hardware was designed.
It is not a thing that can be changed in software.
The best way to accomplish the routing you need is to use a very small Switch Blade pedal.
It is tiny and weighs nothing.

I will draw up a picture to show you how it is done this week.

This is how it is done with a simple Switch Blade. Simply leave the C9 or B9 on and use the Switch Blade foot switch to send the organ to the PA or turn it off.

No need for the drawing, I understand. Thank you for the reply.
