My LBMP barrel connector stopped working. This is a first for me. I’ve never had an EH pedal that wasn’t bullet proof. Well not my fault anyway just stopped working. No submersion in beer, not dropped from a stage and crushed by a dork in a golf cart etc… hehehe Life is good.

Anyway, I could solder on a new one if anyone has a source or what’s it cost to have it done at EH? They’d probably do a board swap. If best recommended course of action is EH what’s the process? Do I call 718-937-8300?

    Green board info:
EH, EC-D2 Rev. B, 2005 new sensor corp

    Thanks in advance,

If it’s still under warrenty, we can send you that part no problem at all. In fact, email your address privately and I will put one in the mail for you.

Are you sure its the barrel or another problem?

I don’t know if the problem is actually in the jack for sure. It just seems most likely. I plug in the external power supply and it bypasses the battery but the pedal goes dead, remove plug make sure there’s a good battery and we’re rocking. Therefore we are talking something requiring more information than I have since I would only remove the board to replace the jack. I can perform these simple tasks. Even though I’m comfortable with following directions I am by no stretch of the imagination an engineer. Therefore replacing the jack is a no harm done low cost most likely fix.

Contact EHX, then send it in to them for repair.

mine stopped working too, even though they’re the industry standard, I’ve heard arguments that the 1/8″ connectors are far superior.

What I did was simply use a battery snap connector and ignored the problem
