Did you try raising the switch a couple of turns?
Really, I’ve cured pop in a few vintage pedals that way.

    How do you do that?

    thanks

Yeah and the best part of it is that I can tweak 2 seperate type of tone, one for each amp.

Sound like more Big Muff with more sound definition…

It’s a good thing there’s a dry out on de BBM.

I had this pedal for a few months and played a lot with. I’ve also used an Expression Pedal.

I bought it to get a reverb, and extra Fx for the same price.

    It’s a good pedal on it’s own.

Now that I have a nice Vintage Reverb and a Tremolo (which is unbeatable!) on my Sunn, I don’t use it anymore.

I will miss my dive-bomb sound I did live with the Pitch Shifter Mix set to max and the expression pedal…crazy! like Hendrix Woodstock but with even more destruction…!

Would have try it on a keyboard…or voice…must be sick!

It’s an excellent pedal to get a custom Metal Tone.
The Top Boost really helps to stand in front of the mix.
I got rid of it because I’m more into Stoner Metal…Fuzz…

I use it for my Baritone with Bass Boost and Sustain at max straight into my Bass Amp

Really get the rawling tone I was looking for.

Nice and small, fit easily in the pedal board.

Look superb in pair with The Big Muff Tone Wicker…

    Love the pedal too.

I used it in parallel with a Bass Big Muff Pi to feed 2 amps with a Epiphone Les Paul Baritone.(1 Bass amp, 1 Guitar amp)

I specially like the Tone Wicker, it really helps getting my lead parts in front of my Bass Big Muff Pi plug in the Bass Amp.

And I like the smaller size, there’s a lot more space on the pedal board.

Hum, I just bought two used but mint condition Bass Big Muff and Big Muff Wicker and they does that same problem…

I’ll have a look for that resistor mod(thanks for the info, BTW).

I guess for the price I paid it’s not too bad but it’s unexpected from a new generation product.

I’ve use the Holy Stain different ways.

First in front of amp alone, sounded good.

Than, in the Fx loop (where a reverb should be, I bought it for reverb…) it lowers to signal when on even at max volume.

Into a pedal loop (Boss Noise Suppressor NS-2 (Send/Return), Big Muff, Holy Stain, Boss Digital Delay DD-3. works good.

And finally at the output of the pedal loop (between output of NS-2 and the amp), Holy Stain and DD-3 last, the other way I coudn’t hear the DD-3. This was the best way.

But now I have 1968 Sunn Solarus 60 Watt with a perfectly working reverb! so i sold the HolyStain…I had a lot of fun with it…Too bad I didn’t had time to experiment Voice or Farfiza Organ in it…
