    Julian, if I’m thinking of running a Holy Grail + in my bass setup (eventually, along with a few other analog EH effects) would I be correct in assuming that using a power supply like the V.S. 1 Spot would be a bad idea? That being said, should I then consider the DC Brick or the Voodoo Labs?

    Thank you…I guess I’ll just have to save up and get the VL *grumble* unless…does the Gator GB8 have isolated outs?

    Heat (as in the power in watts) is a function of both voltage AND current…so…if I had to guess, I’d say that a lower current is likely keeping the tubes from getting wicked hot. Besides, if I remember right, tubes are voltage driven devices, not current driven.

    ZOMG! (sorry)…
    Hey, has anyone here ever gotten a chance to look at the schems for the Mole/Bird? They’re remarkably similar, apart from a few caps here and there…though I somehow doubt EH plans on releasing a combo of any sort :(

    Good to know, thanks. Actually, I am using a Nano Dr. Q in my bass setup right now…if you open the back you’ll find a small trimpot at the top of the board – this lets you adjust the overall range of the pedal. My Dr. Q now works flawlessly with my bass :D

    Also – I was thinking of getting a Holy Grail +, should I not do so? (it’s digital, too…which means I probably can’t tweak it).

    I’d love a tour of the EHX factory…seriously, if it would be possible to get a bunch of EHX-heads in the same place for a tour, I’d sign up. In lieu of that, however, I’d accept a (reasonably) in-depth video tour. :)

    I would wear EHX shirts with pride! Do whatever you have to, I’m fine with CafePress. :) I have the black Ram’s Head shirt…and it’s pretty much my favorite shirt, to be honest.

    I have a similar addiction (particularly to wahs and EHX stuff)…*sigh* trouble is I can’t afford to support my habit nearly as much as I’d like.

    Oh, and grats to the guy who broke 100 – you’re a god among musicians.

    Hmmm…that would be interesting to find out. Truth is, I can only mod/repair wah’s – other than that, I can’t say much about them.

    Well, I oughtta say it: I’m new here, too.

    I figured I should join so I could talk to other EHX nuts like myself :)

    I love this company – and, God willing, will work for them in some capacity…(hey, I can dream)
