    DarkAxel: Have you heard Mike Patton’s new one “Mondo Cane”? It’s in heavy rotation in my car right now, I really like it.

    John J: Totally agree with you regarding the new Melvins. Good Melvins is so very, very good that I’ll forgive the occasional “Colossus of Destiny” or “Prick”, but this latest album feels like it should have been an EP, or needs about 4 more heavy rockers. My fave of their recent output was the Jello Biafra team-up, but I think I’m in the minority on that one.

    ELECTRIC WIZARD!! i was just introduced to this great black sabbath like band this morning by a post on my facebook wall stating that “tone factor likes electric wizard” so i checked them out, and i love it all, the music, the retro artwork, its all great!

    I saw Gorillaz in Philadelphia. It was great with the characters on screen and the band playing behind it. Nothing to be embarrassed about.

    good for you, man! :) imho, it’s just very cool and intelligent mixture of hip hop, pop music and some psychedelic weirdness :) but i’m aware of some people who are repulsed by the “hip-hop” part

    but the new album (Plastic Beach) is somehow less cool than Demon Days or my beloved debut album… but still – there are some good tracks!
