Hello,
I am planning to purchase a new Switchblade Pro and would like some technical advice regarding its use with three specific pedals:
– Boss OC-2 (1983 vintage)
– 3Leaf Audio Wonderlove (V1)
– Future Impact V4
Since the Switchblade Pro has two loops, my plan is to either place the Future Impact V4 inside the FX Loop of the 3Leaf Wonderlove or connect the Wonderlove immediately after the Switchblade Pro’s Main Output.
As you can see, I am using exclusively signal-filtering pedals, therefore I intend to use the SERIES/PARALLEL switch in PARALLEL mode. BUT my main concern is whether I might encounter phase cancellation issues between these pedals when running them in parallel.
I noticed that, unlike the Tri Parallel Mixer, the Switchblade Pro does not have any phase inversion switches (0°/180°) for the individual loops. Given this setup, would you still recommend using the parallel mode? or would it be safer to stick to SERIES mode to avoid potential phase conflicts?
Thank you in advance for your help and for any recommendations you can provide.
Best regards,
Dario
Dario it would be impossible for us to know the phase outputs of the pedals you listed.
You would have to hook it up and see if there are issues.
