Hi. I’ve been using the pog3 straight for a month. I got it to replace my hog. While it doesn’t do exactly that, I do have suggestions to get it to be closer. I really want to love this pedal and feel like it has so much potential. It really isn’t as sonically deep or complicated as it looks. Or as people say when compared to something like the Enzo X. I think it can go much further. Here are some ideas.

– expression: bring (back?) the simple step bend and octave bend on all voices. The warp is cool but unpredictable and not useful in all situations. simple choices would be nice as well. Like the hog had.

– the original slider from the hog is severely missed. Especially for freeze gliss. As such, there should be a setting in freeze gliss where, when frozen, the dry doesn’t come through at all. It’s awkward how when you set the dry to freeze it all of a sudden pops back in. I understand it’s to play in top but it makes sweeping chord changes so much more wonky cause the dry suddenly drops out again.

– maybe input gain can be set to be an internal setting and that slider can be set to dry out. And the dry slider can act as the “original” from the hog. I find that input gain for me is a set it and forget it setting that doesn’t need a slider as much as having a dry out and original slider.

– Tunable voices for each fader. Why be tied to the octaves and the 5th. This would be a game changer, and completely reinvent the pedal. Now the possibilities are truly endless and presets mean so much more. Imagine freezing then pulling up each note of unique voicings. Goosebumps.

– pie in the sky expression idea – freeze/sequence! that runs through the voices to a midi clock. You can set up the sequence steps and all that in the nav menu.

– pie in the sky idea. Preset switches being able to do more than just presets if we want. Like multiple expression settings. Perhaps one button freezes then we can bend with expression. Or one freezes another bends and the expression filters. If you hold the switch longer it then acts like the preset switch and switches presets. Seems insane but I’d use the shit out of that.

– maybe a simple reverb. Again could be tied to a preset switch.

– LFO mappable for the filter or detune or q. Or anything. Can also be an expression setting.
