HAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA lol ….what if it were digitaly controlled. but still analog based. you could have the curcuitry from every one of these pedals but digitaly switch between them… so it’d be like having 10 pedals packaged into one box…. that would definitely be an advantage! and loosen up room on your pedal board… i’d swap the muff fuzz out with a blues muff you could call it “Butter Muff”.
Ten different circuits in one box?! That would be huuuge!
February 7, 2009 at 4:02 am #92854Fbanks88MemberI know it’d be huge!
it would just add to the mystique of it! you could even have the individual distortion circuits mounted like video cards inside the box! *GASP* YOU COULD EVEN MAKE ADD IN CARDS FOR IT! LIKE A CUSTOMIZABLE PEDAL/COMPUTER THING! lol like mounting a bunch of nentendo cards in one unit!February 7, 2009 at 7:09 am #92861PumpkinPiecesMemberSeems like a studio muff. I honestly wouldn’t see the point for it live unless you could turn two or three of the muff’s on at the same time. But i’m a fuzz whore so… you know.
IMO of course.
This could’ve been mentioned before, but I’d like to see a Hazarai like pedal that encompassed modulation/tremolo effects….

yup I know, I only did it for fun I didn’t even realise until afterwards that it would be impossible to do without it being diigital!! but now you mention it, it would be cool for recording, it could have a cab emulated output on a XLR like the voice box. If it was cheap enough it would be cool for recording demo’s at home or whatever, I’d buy it for that.

February 11, 2009 at 6:01 pm #93096julianModeratorI added solid state XO Wiggler to the list
February 11, 2009 at 7:48 pm #93111GoldengloveMemberAs for utilities, maybe a guitar signal-to-CV converter? CV and signal outs? And a delay with a CV input for controlling the delay time?
February 11, 2009 at 10:50 pm #93131CostchParticipantEHX Uni-Vibe? Better yet, EHX leslie speaker? One designed for keys and one designed for guitar/bass? Still waiting for that elusive EHX manual wah to be considered by the staff… If you do make a wah, make it knobless (real wahs don’t require knobs), and put a halo inductor in it. Make it a color other than black too. Maybe put the Ram’s Head logo on the rubber foot pad. Just some thoughts for a unique wah that could put my Crybaby out of commission. Make it pretty cheap too (under $120).
February 11, 2009 at 11:57 pm #93132Fbanks88MemberYou should come out with two wahs! one with no knobs and one with an assortment of 8 knobs and switches for us tweakers!
AND! have it effect style switchable from the manual to a RotoWah! I’ve never seen a wah effect pedal that cycles through the wah tone, so that would be a very cool feature!February 12, 2009 at 11:14 pm #93216puretubeMemberQuote:You should come out with two wahs! one with no knobs and one with an assortment of 8 knobs and switches for us tweakers!

February 13, 2009 at 5:12 am #93234WatsonWoodMemberOK, my item for the wish list is:-
Big Muff Crying Tone with the 4 sweep filters selection, reverse wah option, volume pedal function, integrated muff fuzz option, either combined with volume pedal function or combined with wah function (including of course the 4 sweep filters selection) and true bypass (from the muff fuzz circuit and the wah circuit) when the pedal is used in the volume pedal mode. Also, a couple of function leds so it is possible to know which function(s) is/are switched on (EHX pedals often take you to the heights of disorientation when in full swing..which is good but demands extra concentration to return to the mother ship!..and a power connection.
I started a forum on the subject of the re-birth of the Crying Tone:-

As I say there, I am hoping that EHX will be kind enough (to us) and inspired enough to bring out once more what was the most definitive wah pedal ever!! Capable of wahing intruments from double-bass to the piccolo! And yes, I have heard and seen it done. I enclose a pic of a beaten-up BMCTP from the ’70s. -
