Tagged: footswitch, Hot wax, LED
Hello
I have a problem on the crayon side of the hot wax pedal I got used, 9 times out of 10 the led of the crayon side doesn’t turn off when i press the footswitch.
Sometime it fades away, or if I stomp heavily it may turn off.
I tried to tighten the footswitch but it’s not really working on long term.
I guess I could try to solder the connections of the footswitch but I prefer to ask first in case you have some documentation or any tips I could use
Sounds like a dirty switch.
please write info@ehx.com
ALSO I clean my switches with Deoxit spray.
You spray a bit on the back of the switch and where the switch goes up and down. It will leach in and clean the oxide off the contacts.
