Hello all, this is my first post here. i’ll include a few pics of the board and unit. i have a dmm from the 70s with the SAD1024a delay chips, that a friend of mine gave me a while back. at first it had a power issue and another friend Richie Hall fixed it for me and the thing worked great and sounded great for about 2 weeks and all the sudden the delay stopped working. the pedal still powers on, i can adjust the dry signal completely
out with the blend knob and i can hear a high pitch whine when adjusting the delay knob to the right. all the knobs appear to be working correctly other than maybe the feedback and delay. since i have no delay i can’t tell if the feedback is working. the Overload light does come on when level is up and all that i think. note there is some corrosion on the back of the board behind where i believe the delay chips are but, it was like this when it worked before. What could have happened suddenly i wonder? any help would be greatly appreciated. God bless.
