Home › Forums › Help/Technical Questions › EHX OCEANS 12 – DISTORTED SOUNDS/NOISES/CRACKLES WHEN LEVEL INPUT IS TOO HIG
Hello,
I bought an OCEANS 12 pedal a month ago and I’m noticing some strange behavior.
When the input level is high, the pedal’s reverb algorithms create distortion or artifacts in the sound.
To solve this problem, I either cut frequencies on the source with an equalizer, or I leave the FX Level set to before noon. After noon, the sound tends to create distortion and other glitches on my reverb.
I notice this with both a guitar and some synthesizers connected to the effects pedal.
Is this normal, or am I not setting something correctly?
Thank you for your reply.

It sounds like you are over driving it.
