Or you could go all out Hendrix and make it a 3-in-1 pedal with Octave fuzz, Fuzz Face and TS/Glove 🙂

    Hello!

Would be cool to see EHX do a 2-in-1 modulation pedal in the style of Connan Mockasin. A Chorus into a Phaser (or the other way around). It’s such a strange and fantastic sound, giving the guitar a really psychedelic 3D feel. Maybe add a octave up option into the mix?

    Take care!

    Hey!

Would love to see EHX come out with a great Fuzz Face circuit, such as a vintage Dallas Arbiter or Diaz-style Fuzz Face circuit. Maybe put a Big Muff style tone stack (with a on/off-switch) on it to make it more tweakable and to avoid it getting too muddy?

Or maybe even do a 2-in-1 pedal with a great sounding Fuzz Face + a TS-style circuit or Glove/Spruce Goose to give the fuzz a mid boost or give it a fuzz into Marshall sound. There are a lot of good options out there today but the prices are crazy considering the relatively simple circuits. I think if you produced a pedal such as this at a fair price you’d dominate the market and people who loves Jimi Hendrix/SRV-style tones would all get one.

    Tone inspiration:
Vintage Dallas Arbiter, Diaz, King Tone, Isle of Tone, Pedal Pawn

I bought an intelligent harmony machine.

It doesn’t power on when it is chilled.

The specification of it says it can work in temperature between 5 to 35 ℃.

But it doesn’t work under around 15 ℃.

I made it chill to 8 ℃ in a refrigerator, it didn’t completely power on.

And I made it warm with a hairdryer, it turned on.

I reported this problem to music instruments store, and the store made the distributor in Japan to send me another new one.

They said the new one was changed some parts and the problem was solved.

But the new one doesn’t power on when it is chill again. The problem is same as before one.

Does someone know how to solve this problem?

Music instruments store and the distributor in Japan don’t know how to do.

On my pedalboard I use a Truetone 1-Spot CS12 power supply. The EH power supply that came with my D9 pedal is 9.6 V 200 mA. The CS12 has 9v 250mA and 9V 500mA. Will I be OK using either of those options with my D9 pedal.

Either would be fine, just make sure the polarity is correct.

So I was changing out the battery in my muff for the first time and when I put my new battery in the battery connecter stopped working entirely. My 9v was a little big so I had to shove it in a little bit. I closed the back and plugged in and it didn’t work. I tried putting the original battery back in and it didn’t work either. The only way it gets power is through plugging in an adapter.

Any help or advice would be hugely appreciated 🙂

Valter, Its buffered, SO put your fuzz in front if you don’t want it to see a buffered signal.
ALSO not all fuzz circuits are temperamental to a buffered signal. Listen and see if it sounds and feels different with a buffered signal.

Greetings, fellow nerds! I have a Silencer and I only use it to split the signal in my pedalboard.

I know that The Silencer has a buffered bypass mode. What I wanted to understand is, as the title says, is both the ‘SEND’ and ‘OUTPUT’ sending a buffered signal or only the ‘SEND’ is buffered? The manual says:

FOOTSWITCH and LED – The Footswitch selects whether The Silencer is
engaged or in buffered bypass mode. When the gate is engaged, the LED is lit.
The effects loop remains in your signal path while The Silencer is bypassed.
    ...
OUTPUT Jack – The OUTPUT jack is The Silencer’s main audio output. The
gated signal exits through the OUTPUT jack. The output impedance is 300.
SEND Jack – Connect the SEND jack to the beginning of your effects loop. The
output impedance is 300. The SEND jack outputs a buffered version of the
signal present at the INPUT jack at all times. If you do not need to use the
Silencer’s effects loop, the SEND jack could also be used to split the input signal.

This is so that I know where to put my fuzz pedal, to avoid it being messed up by a buffer before it.

    Cheers!

So the Hot Wax I think is one of the most popular Ehx pedals and for good reason, but….. some people don’t quite get along with certain drive pedals or a certain combo. I think EHX should release a line of dual overdrives making use of their current ones and also overdrive/fuzz dual pedals, I would love an East River Drive/ Glove dual pedal, would also like an East River Drive/ Op amp dual pedal. The options are endless with the Hot Tubes, Crayon, ERD, Glove, Soul Food, Germanium OD, Muff OD, Double Muff OD, Latiron, Ramshead etc etc etc. These would sell quite well I thinks.
