I bought the LPB-1 and it seems to work well for some situations. But others it behaves a little odd.

I have an Epiphone LP, running through a Peavey Classic 30.

Signal chain is tuner>>EHX big muff pi (op-amp)>>boss DS-1X>>EHX LPB-1>>MXR analog delay

It seems when I’m on the dirty channel of the amp, the LPB-1 boosts a very small amount. When I’m on the clean channel and using distortion pedals, the boost is too much.

I tried putting the LPB-1 before the distortion pedals and that seems to yield NO boost.

Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions would be great. Could it be the amp that’s the issue?!

In front of the distortion will not yield more volume as the distortion by nature has the headroom maxed.
Same thing in front of an already cranked up amp.
