Hi folks!

I Just got a Dr Q pedal that didn’t work according to the seller and when I got it I noticed the cables to the 3,5 tele power jack was un-soldered so I soldered them back and tried the pedal out today. The pedal did bypass but when turned on I noticed a strange ‘‘electrifried’’ smell.

I charged the pedal with a 9v DC adapter. I couldn’t find any info on what power supply old E-H needs but when i googled for E-H power supply i saw 9vDC adapters.

Does the vintage E-H pedals run on DC or AC, 9 or 12v? I think it’s way to little info about this.

I can’t see any fried components/caps so anyone got any tip?

Funny thing,

Found out old E-H use AC so I switched the tip from negative to positive and the pedal works as a charm and it sounds really funky..raspberry
