EHX FLASHBACK: 1976 Memory Man

This ad dates back to December of 1976 and features the “new” Electro-Harmonix Memory Man Solid State Echo/Analog Delay Line. In the 1970s EHX was one of the pioneers of analog delays. The Memory Man used so-called bucket brigade technology to create echoes that were very warm and organic sounding. Prior to the advent of solid state delays, echo effects were typically achieved using magnetic tape devices.
