Switchblade

Instructions

Congratulations! You have just purchased the Switchblade Channel Selector. The Switchblade is capable of carrying out all of your simple switching needs, without having to worry about batteries and power adaptors.

-OPERATION-

FOOTSWITCH- Switches the Y jack connection between the A jack and B jack.

The Switchblade can be used in two directions, meaning the signal path can flow from A/B to Y, or from Y to A/B.

Using the Switchblade to switch between two instruments: plug the instruments into jack A and jack B using 1/4” instrument cables. Then connect jack Y to the next device in your signal chain (effects, if any, or amplifier if none). Use the footswitch to switch between the instruments.

Using the Switchblade to switch between two amplifiers: plug the amplifiers into jack A and jack B using 1/4” instrument cables. Then connect jack Y to the previous device in your signal chain (effects, if any, or instrument if none). Use the footswitch to switch between amplifiers.

The Switchblade is not limited the above two applications. Here are two more application examples:

Y: Instrument—> Effects chain A, effects chain B

Y: Amplifier head—> Speaker cabinet A, speaker cabinet B (be sure to use speaker cable and not instrument cable for this application).

The Switchblade is a passive device and requires no power supply, such as a battery or power adapter. The Switchblade does not support stereo use and will only work with 1/4” mono cables.

We've been playing these EHX Strings ever since we first took them home to try them out, back in 2002.

We find them to consistently offer rich harmonics with powerful definition, while also lasting longer and staying in tune longer than conventional strings.

We use them, we like them, and we think you will too. Available in 9's, 10's, 11's.
