The Blade Runner soundtrack was composed by Vangelis for Ridley Scott’s 1982 film Blade Runner. It is mostly a dark, melodic combination of classical composition and synthesizers which mirrors the futuristic film nor envisioned by Scott.
Vangelis main keyboard was the Yamaha CS80,
Below are the chains and settings I used to recreate the theme using Electro-Harmonix pedals:

Do you suppose the combination of pedals/guitars/cabling weighs more or less than the 220lb monstrosity that is the CS80? If we were to recreate this live, that is.

ELP was like KISS of progressive rock, pure rock stars all nonsense. I saw you video on how to turn the guitar in a moog, I would really wish EHX made a portamento pedal, the v256 is too expensive to use only one function. Or they could add It to the MycroSynth together with a Low Pass Filter and a Ring Modulator and Make a huge pedal like the Hog.
That would be like a pigtronix Mothership with Filter Sweep, in fact It could be more convenient If EHX made a Filter Sweep pedal so I could Add It to the Mothership. But for now all the keyboard sounds that I need are in my little Mellotron/POG2 (plus a chorus for the “rotary” sound)
Gerard….“pure rock stars all nonsense”????
Keith Emerson is an amazing musician I have no idea how you would you would call him nonsence.
I hope it is a translation problem between your language and English:-)
I would love an expanded synth pedal from EHX!
Its up to the genius Mike Matthews….

What I really mean was that Emerson doesnt take himself too serioudly, ge understand that music is something to be enjoyed and fun, evenwhen is complex and challenging. ELP knew how to fool around and play serious music, I once read that ELP mixed tock eith classical in order to please the “upper clases” but what they really did was assault classical and make It cool and fun for the kids.
ELP is still oitrageous in these days, pure rock n roll
