I purchased a EHX bass big muff from my local music store and when i tried it out at practice, it made a loud click sound when it turned the pedal switch on and off.  sometimes, its so loud, the sound gets put through my bass amplifier.  was wondering what the problem was with my pedal and how i can fix it.
